LEED Accredited Professionals -
David Woods and Lara Wood are certified as "LEED AP" and the firm is a member of the US Green Building Council, that manages the "Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design" program. MWA is pursuing LEED certification options for a number of current projects.
Leaders in Sustainable Architecture -
MWA has made a commitment to enhanced environmentally conscious design practices, subscribing to the 2030 protocol for carbon-neutral buildings. MWA has always been committed to environmentally sensitive work.

World of BIM -
Building Information Modeling is a hot topic in the AEC industry. MWA has used the Graphisoft, Archi CAD - modeling documentation program since it's inception in 1991, providing a seamless platform from schematic design through construction documentation. This means better coordination in the design and construction process, and management throughout the project delivery.
Greenwich ARC -
David continues to serve on the town of Greenwich Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The town requires architectural review for all commercial projects. ARC seeks to uphold universal values of design standards for both historic and modern design.
Architectural Design Standards -
MWA assisted the town of Stamford in writing an architectural review standard for new and renovated buildings. David further assisted DSSD with the creation of a guide for suggested design and construction practices.
