THE MARVELWOOD SCHOOL, KENT, CT
Marvelwoood school completed this adddition
to the existing gymnasium, some 6 years after the purchase of the
hill top campus from the Kent School. The school master plan called
for a new athletic center on the south side of the original gymnasium.
The facility has a main upper floor with a gymnasium, weight training
room and main lobby. A full underground floor has wrestling rooms,
locker rooms, dance rooms, and mechanical spaces.
CWA has started a concept plan for the conversion
of the original gym building into a new Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Halper Owens Associates Architects, completed master plan concepts
for the campus.
