Country Club of Darien, Tennis Pavilion
This building is sited along a narrow strip
of land with it's long face toward the tennis courts. The architecture
features a long arcade of round columns or "veranda" where
everyone can sit and watch matches or clinics on the courts just below.
The round ends make covered "living" rooms for parties or
special events. It also houses the pro shop, changing rooms and a
modest lounge for relaxing after the hard fought contest.
