Saunders / Albin Residence, Stamford
The existing structure is a hundred year old
farm house on a wooded lot. The Albins asked to expand the footprint
to make a family room kitchen and nanny quarters on the ground floor,
with exercise studio and a new master suite on the 2nd.
The addition was placed at the back of the
house, in order to preserve the historic structure at the front.
